Charles O. Shrader Sr., passed away at the age of 85 on April 12, 2021. He and his wife, Beverly (Bellows) Shrader would have celebrated their 63rd anniversary in May.
Born in Brush Fork, West Virginia, a son of the late Paris and Edna Shrader. He had been employed by Mandeville Signs for 30 years before retiring.
He devoted seven years serving in the US Army, then Navy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Donna Frost and her husband Ed, Dawn Setaro her husband Bill, a son, Charles Shrader Jr., a brother, Albert Shrader, six grandchildren, David, Robert, William III, Derek, Megan and Charles III and seven great grandchildren, Derek Jr, Bentley, Avery, Kinsley, Jackson, Zoey and Belle. He was the brother of the late Dorothy Belcher and Margaret Mitchell.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 from 9am until noon in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial with military honors will be held in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
